Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning/AI

As a Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning/AI at Resource Data, you will play a pivotal role in interacting directly with clients to understand their business needs and develop customized AI solutions that drive real value. Your work will involve translating complex problems into practical AI applications, ensuring that our clients not only keep up but stay ahead in their markets. This role specifically will partner with the team to provide thought leadership and evangelism for Resource Data's Machine Learning/AI consulting practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to identify their business needs and potential AI solutions
• Design, develop, and deploy AI models and frameworks
• Work closely with project managers and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Stay updated with AI trends and advancements to provide innovative solutions
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients on proposed solutions and their expected impact

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years' experience programming in C#, .NET Frameworks, and SQL Server
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in AI or machine learning project implementation
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages
• Proven track record in consulting, advising, or working directly with clients on technology-driven projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-expert stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of neural networks, natural language processing, and computer vision
• Hands-on experience with cloud services and machine learning platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, PaaS, and IaaS environments
• Knowledge of Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, and building and deploying models on Azure
• Experience with AWS Sagemaker, AWS Lambda, and AWS EC2 for deploying AI solutions
• Experience integrating and leveraging the OpenAI API to enhance business applications and workflows
